Briefly about us

Furuly Turbuss AS is located in Bardu municipality in Midt-Troms. We provide bus services to both public and private customers. We must deliver quality at all levels. Our vision is to deliver safe and good experiences with high quality for our customers.

• Proximity  - by that we mean that we should be a strong local player with good accessibility and good response time.

Our story

Furuly Turbuss is a family business that originated in 1946 when Mikal Olai Furuly bought an Opel Blitz and started driving the school route between Voll, Fredly school and Setermoen school.

Around 1970, Mikal expanded its offer to also include touring. The trips that were set up went to places like Nordkapp and Hammerfest.

Mikal operated buses for 40 years. Over the years he had many buses. When he passed away in 1986, he had one  bus.

His son Alf Furuly then started driving for his mother who owned the company, and in 1989 he took over the bus company. Alf continued to run the business as his father did. New buses were bought and it was again expanded with touring.

Bjørn-Tore started driving for his father in 2004. He is then the third generation in the Furuly family who drives for the company, and is today the CEO.

In 2008, Furuly Turbuss was established and founded as an A / S. Until then, Alf Furuly had operated as a self-employed person.

Furuly Turbuss currently has 3 school routes in Bardu Municipality  and also has the adapted school bus in the municipality.

In addition to the school routes, Furuly Turbuss is a subcontractor to Bussring and runs the airport bus between Setermoen and Bardufoss Airport.

We take on driving on request and we can arrange trips both at home and abroad. We are registered in the travel guarantee fund.

The company wants to continue operating in the same direction as they have done until today. What the future will bring no one knows!
